Open Play Schedule
Open play is always available at Parkside Pickleball courts for all skill levels, everyday of the week. The courts use a paddle system to assure fair playing time for all.
Below is a guide to help you get the most enjoyable experience at the courts, and increase the odds of finding the level of competition you are looking for.
Anyone can participate whenever they choose during park hours, however the likelihood of finding open play for a particular skill level increases if you follow the guide below.

What is a Paddle System?
When the courts are filled with individuals waiting to play, a queue called the paddle system is used, to assure fair playing time for all.
Players waiting in the queue will put their paddles in the paddle rack.
As one game finishes, the first four players in the queue, will take the first available court, and play one game. When they finish, if there are others in the queue; they will come off the courts to allow for the next group to get on.
If only 2 paddles are in the queue, winners from the recent match may remain on the court, and the 2 players in the queue will replace the players who lost the previous match.
What if I just want to practice?
No worries, if you would like to drill during a busy time you can.
Simply place you paddle in the queue, and when it's your turn to take the court, drill for 15 minuets, then rotate off.
You can get back in the queue for another opportunity to drill by simply placing your paddle back in the rack.
